All in all, life is going rather well at the moment, for which I am very thankful.

Yesterday, I sobbed farewell to my makeshift pond and waved hello to a makeshift shrubbery, in which I planted some... things. Bulbs, mostly, but I've no idea what they'll turn into, I'll have to let you know. Spring is clearly upon us - bastard birdies tweeting at the crack of dawn, frogs spawning all over your doorstep, weeds sprouting up from underneath the patio like secrets from the Jordache family's past. Lovely, isn't it? Yes, with Spring comes change, some bad, but mostly it's new and wonderful.

Speaking of wonderful changes, I would like to congratulate =robinism on being cigarette free for seventeen days and counting!! And not only is she putting her resolve to the test, but she's really throwing caution to the wind and flying over to the UK on the 1^st of May and staying with yours truly for two whole weeks. Aren't I lucky?


In other news, I broke my toe, stamping my foot in a fit of impotent rage over something or other. And re-broke my finger trying to catch a flying apple. Woe is me.
